The CNBC News and Gift stores are new retail spaces that were built in nine different locations throughout the Kansas City International Airport. Each store features a large television screen featuring the CNBC station news. The stores are approximately 750 s.f. with sliding glass security doors separating in from the concourse when the store is closed, but completely open to the concourse during business hours. Architectura has developed the prototypical design, and Wellner Architects completed the documents for each of the store locations.
