Renovations of 15,000 square feet of this facility provided new areas for out-patient services for the hearing impaired and the Family Focus programs for the Olathe Mental Health Facility. The scope of work included renovations to the administration areas and the public meeting rooms, modifications for ADA compliance, and enhancements to the exterior. The administration area renovations included the demolition of the existing nursing areas and support facilities which remained from the original mental health wards. The ADA modifications included replacement of the existing elevator with a compliant unit, changing of door hardware to compliant hardware and new signage. The exterior facade was modified with new windows and spandrel panels to update the appearance of the building.
