Wellner Architects, Inc. worked with this client in Tucson, Arizona to renovate their office and laboratory spaces within their existing building to accommodate rapid growth. Responsibilities included design for the new offices, the build‑out of laboratory space, and the design of furniture systems for the lab scientists. Space planning and programming services consisted of department meetings to determine space functions and requirements, adjacencies, equipment requirements, and capacities. The project included space for a biology lab for 14 users, a chemistry lab for 18 users, specialty labs, offices and support spaces.
