North Equipment Storage Building

This 80,000 s.f. storage building now houses the relocated snow removal equipment for Kansas City International Airport. The facility is located at the north end of the N/S runway to provide easy access during inclement weather, as well as proximity to KCI's new Sand and De-Ice, Fueling, and Maintenance Facility. The existing Equipment Storage Building at 154 Tokyo is being renovated to accommodate maintenance shops and employee support space. The Equipment Storage Building has been developed to the Kansas City Missouri LEED Silver Standard.
