The renovation of this 25,203 square foot elementary school included demolition and construction to create a cafeteria from three classrooms to allow full-time use of the gymnasium, reconfigure the office and main entry for improved security, and create a new entry canopy to help define the main building entrance. Wellner Architects also designed a 12,500 square foot single story addition to the school, which includes nine additional classrooms, toilet facilities, and a resource space. A small portion of the building (about 800 SF) included a lower level accessed from the outside for storage of equipment and supplies.
