SR. PROJECT ARCHITECT
During Clay's nineteen years of experience, he has developed extensive experience in all phases of design including project management, construction documents, construction administration, and CAD design. Since joining Wellner Architects in 1995, he has been exposed to many different types of projects such as airport terminal buildings, transit/ maintenance/warehouse facilities, educational facilities, parking structures, telecommunication facilities, office buildings, residential housing, and the interior design of multi-plex theaters.
Clay has been LEED® Accredited since 2005.
Clay completed the design and construction documentation for the KCI terminal renovation project in 2005. His responsibilities included replacement of all glazing and skylight systems along with 33,000 s.f. of new building and vestibule additions. He is currently working on the Kansas City International Airport In-Line Baggage Security project.
