The 10,000 square foot maintenance facility at the Kansas City Zoo contains a drive-thru vehicle maintenance area with a vehicle lift, a general work room, and open storage for zoo equipment. Other areas in the building include a drive-thru wash bay, a welding bay, custodian storage, paint storage, and toilets. The structure is a pre-engineered, single story metal building with metal wall panels, concrete masonry units, a standing seam roof, skylight panels, aluminum windows, and overhead doors.
