Wellner Architects provided master planning and site development for this 44 acre site, that combined services for the Missouri Department of Transportation, Kansas City, Missouri Public Works, and Kansas City, Missouri Water Services Department. The project also included design and construction of a site access road, a 15,200 square foot building housing a MoDOT field office and a 13 bay maintenance garage, a salt storage dome shared by MoDOT and public works, and a fueling station shared by all three groups. The project reuired extensive coordination with representatives of all three agencies.
