Completed in 2009

Southeast High School was completely renovated in 2009 when the school became the African Centered College Preperatory Academy. The palette and textures within are inspired by traditional African artifacts and colors. However, the overall design still remains true to the 1930's spirit of the building. The auditorim went under the greatest change with new seating, theatrical stage equipment and an addition of a sound system and control booth. The new paint scheme now highlights the original and intricate plaster details. The cafeteria, library, corridors and classrooms also went through transformation.
